Samantha Kent, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian at Veterinary Medical And Surgical Group–OC (VMSG-OC) in Orange County.
Dr. Samantha Kent is originally from Pennsylvania. She attended NYU and Villanova University for her undergraduate degree in Biology and completed veterinary school at Tufts University in Massachusetts. She completed a rotating internship focused on emergency and critical care at the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center in La Mesa and then stayed on as a full-time clinician at the PESC for a number of years before relocating to North County.
Dr. Kent served as Director of Emergency Services and Internship Director at a 24hr General Practice/ER hybrid hospital in Oceanside for four years and is now excited to be a part of the team at VMSG! She is certified in basic and advanced veterinary CPR and is also certified in veterinary medical acupuncture. Dr. Kent’s medical interests include emergency and critical care and toxicology. Outside of work Dr. Kent loves spending time with her family and traveling.
